Last week there was some buzz on the web about a nice little addition to Google Maps. I’m not certain if the change was added last week, or if the buzz was just generated at that time. In any case, I thought it was definitely note-worthy.
Many times companies try so hard to fit in to the structured, corporate world that they forget to keep it fun. Google has managed to become one of the major players in the tech world and still keep a fun company culture that is unlike any other. Google produces great internet search, cloud computing and advertising technologies while providing a one-of-a-kind user experience. A great example of that is the quirky addition to the Google Maps directions. It’s just a reminder that to be taken seriously doesn’t necessarily require being serious all the time – have fun with your products and their delivery and your customers will love you for it. See for yourself and follow the instructions below to find out what I mean.
- Go to: http://maps.google.com/
